The founder of Blink Digital, Jeff Grimm, began his journey with digital marketing and website design in 2007. Initially, Jeff only worked on projects for his own insurance agency. Over the years Jeff began taking on projects to help fellow insurance agents.

We have extensive experience in the insurance industry. Our founder got started as an agency owner with State Farm in 2007. In 2010 he moved on to open an independent insurance agency that he later sold for multiple 7 figures in January 2023. Both of these agencies were started from scratch.

It depends on the product or service that you purchase. Many of our offerings are month-to-month with no contract. There are some services that require a commitment from you for it to make sense financially. Don’t hesitate to ask questions to our team. 

We can typically build and launch your new website in 2 weeks or less. If you make custom requests it will add to the development time frame.

Downtime, if any, is typically minimal. There may be a small disruption to your website and email functionality while the servers are updating after the launch. 

You sure do. We have heard horror stories of website vendors who keep domains hostage when a client wants to cancel. This is not our style! 

Yes, of course! All of our websites are built on a domain that your agency owns. You can use an existing agency domain or purchase a new one from any third-party domain provider you wish. 

You’ll need to purchase a domain before we begin work on your website. If you need any assistance, the Blink team can provide best practices for choosing a domain name as well as vendors to purchase from.

No! Getting your website up and running requires minimal effort on your end. We do all the heavy lifting. At Blink, we’ve been perfecting our onboarding process for over a decade so you reap the benefits without breaking a sweat. 

No. It is often more work for our team to take over and fix an existing website rather than starting from scratch. 

Yes…and no. We don’t advise adding a ton of wordpress plugins to your website. This can lead to poor website performance and even security issues. If you have a plugin in mind, shoot our team a message and we’ll check it out. 

Our websites are pre-filled with valuable insurance content. If you wish to transfer some content from your previous website, we can help with that. Keep in mind, however, that your previous web designer may own that content and prevent you from using it. 

It depends on the website package that you purchase. At Blink, we offer 2 options. Option 1: Self-Managed WebsiteIf you select the self-managed website package you’ll need to purchase a hosting plan from your provider of choice. You’ll give us access to your hosting plan, we’ll load the website files, and you’ll be on your way.Option 2: Blink-Managed WebsiteIf you choose to have us build and mantain your website we’ll handle the hosting for you and provide daily backups. 

If you choose to have Blink manage your website on an ongoing basis, your website will automatically be added to our hosting plan.If you purchase our one-time fee website package, you will be responsible for finding your own hosting. 

Yes. We will monitor your website for potential hacks and security issues. If we discover an issue, our team will work with the hosting provider to get the issue fixed. 

Yes. If you purchase one of the website packages where Blink manages your website, your site will include an SSL certificate. If you purchase our one-time fee website option you’ll need to obtain your own SSL certificate. We can help add this to your website. 

Of course! Our websites are responsive, which means they are designed to work on all devices.

If you purchase a plan where we manage your website for you, our team is here to assist you when you need help. If you purchased a one-time fee website package we can still help, but there will be additional fees depending on the assistance that you need. 

The buildout process is pretty straight forward. Once you complete your website questionnaire, we should have everything we need to get started. Our team can typically build out a website in 2 weeks or less. Once the website is ready to go, we’ll schedule a live zoom meeting to walk you through everything and make any necessary edits. If you approve of the website we will then make the site live after our call. 

If you’ve chosen to have Blink manage your website for you, then you’ll pay either a monthly or annual fee. For this small fee your website will be added to our hosting and your website maintenance will be handled by our team directly.
